1946 was a year full of joy. World War II ended and a sleepy beach community in Manhattan Beach, California was a weekend retreat for residents of Los Angeles. 1946 was also the year Grandma Jo started to attract loyal customers who would always be amazed at the fun, delicious confections she created in her candy store.

We fast-forward to the present and we still carry on the tradition of Grandma Jo's delicious candies. She was often "looking over our shoulder" to make sure that her original recipes remained intact. "Never compromise quality for price" was then and still is the core of our candy making.
